Webb, Joe Webb (Glitteron Music 2000) - Joe Webb, a graduate of Berklee College of Music
has released a four-track EP. Joe Webb melds elements of modern rock with Joe's alienated lyrics.
According to his bio, Joe "shocked fellow students by cutting off all communication with them for two years. Now resurfaced, Joe Webb offers us his view of life through 'blooded stained eyes.'" The bio adds that "these songs are based on Joe's memories and experiences while hitch hiking throughout Europe and his isolationist period in America."
I don't know about all that. But songs like "Alice Drops Dots in Her T" and "Missing Messiah" are well-made slices of LA rock. Joe provides guitars, vocals, synths, and sound design, and is joined by numerous friends on drums, organs and bass, including Charlie Paxson, Marshal Thomas, and Danny Dunlap. The album was produced by Eric Ferguson.
