Steffen Heins, Jenni Rain (Iowa Artists Records 1998) - Now age 32, Steffen Heins has made a name for himself on the Coffeehouse circuit in the Midwest. Jenni Rain finds Heins showcasing his skills as a singer and songwriter. A graduate of Iowa State University, Heins has played as far as the Lyons Folk Festival in Colorado. His earnest style is featured on such tracks as "Crazy Jake" and "Too Poor to be Famous." I'm from the Midwest, and hearing Heins reminds me of my roots. Give a listen to this tested talent.
